Here we would like to add 1 tip for Vietnam-visa. For South African citizens and residents, in addition to obtain the visa via the embassy, they can obtain it online. It is called visa on arrival. With this kind of visa, they have no work to do with the embassy at all, just complete the online form for visa approval letter, pay for service fee, get the letter via email within 2 working days (or faster if you wish) and then get visa stamped upon arrival at Vietnam airport. But please keep in mind this way is for those traveling to Vietnam by air only.
